The ZD510 is a comprehensive, integrated and compact solution from Zebra Technologies for printing wristbands for patients and attendees at mass events. Printed patient ID wristbands are durable and readable by barcode scanners.

The Zebra ZD510 printer is designed with the user in mind, so its design provides easy-to-use features that require little user supervision. The ZD510 printer and its cartridges do not require specialist training for staff to operate - all operations are extremely simple and time consuming; preparing the printer for operation by simply loading a special cartridge with Z-Band® Direct wristbands through the opening at the top of the device.

Z-Band® Direct wristbands are plastic patient identifiers with an antimicrobial coating. Intelligent printer technology detects the wristband type and automatically calibrates the settings for optimal print quality. The wristbands themselves come in a variety of colors, with several types of adhesive, and in three sizes: adult, pediatric, and neonatal. So whether you need personal identification in the medical industry, at mass events, guided tours, amusement parks or swimming pools, finding the right wristbands for your needs is no problem

Zebra ZD510 is compatible with the same consumables as its predecessor - Zebra HC100. In addition, it has a much larger working memory, which in practice translates into a greater fluidity of production. Further enhancements include more modern connectivity options, including wireless connectivity, and support for Link-OS and Print DNA, which reduces deployment time and simplifies equipment management. Standard equipment includes Ethernet, USB, USB host port. Additionally, a radio communications module is available upon request, providing 802.11ac Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth 4.1 LE.
